In 2007, 75 Scotties were rescued in Texas.

They were:

                3 - 6 Years                            18               24%

                6 - 9 Years                             10              14%

                Over 12 Years                        2                2.5%

No Scotties had to be euthanized.   In addition, 26 Scottie mixes, Westies, Cairns and Schnauzers were also successfully rescued and placed in the Texas program.  

NOTE:  Of the 75 Scotties rescued, the North Texas Scottie Rescue (Margy Tucker in the Dallas-Fort Worth area) had the most with 56
