In 2009, 107 Scotties were rescued and re-homed in Texas.

The Texas Scottie Rescue Fund, Inc. Coordinators also rescued many Scottie Mixes, Westies, Cairns, and other breeds during the year. Many of the Scotties were helped by TSRF, Inc. and the generous donors to this fund.
